1 stick butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 cups flour
1 cup walnuts, chopped

Cream butter, eggs and sugar together. Add vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together and gradually add to creamed mixture. Fold in bananas and nuts. pour into a greased and floured loaf pan 9 x 5 x 3 inch.

Bake 325 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pans for 20 minutes.

Remove from pans. While still warm smooth oil over top and wrap in Sarah wrap, then foil. When room temperature ready to serve or freeze.

I freeze all my left over bananas in skins, when I have 4 bananas I'm ready to bake. If bananas are small use 5 bananas.
