1 unbaked 9 inch deep dish pie shell
2 eggs
1 can solid pack pumpkin
3/4 c sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1 can evaporated milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425. Beat eggs lightly in large bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients in order given. Pour into pie shell. Bake for 15 minutes at 425. Reduce temperature to 350 and bake for 20 to 30 minutes or until pie test done.

This is the recipe that I used every Thanksgiving. I prefer Libby's pumpkins. Probably because we lived by Libby's pumpkin packing plant in Morton IL and that brings back great memories.
