1 1/2 lbs. round steak, pounded
1 small onion
2 can beef broth
1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
water to cover
Sauce:
1 T. flour
1/4 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Brown the steak in a deep frying pan adding the onions when you turn the steak. Add the broth,salt and pepper. If needed add water to cover the meat.. Simmer at least 2 hours adding water if necessary to keep meat covered.. Remove the steak and set aside. Mix the flour and water together and add to the broth the meat was cooked in. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Taste for seasoning and add if necessary. Pour sauce over steak. Also very good on potatoes.
