6 medium bananas
1 (1lb) box vanilla wafers
3 medium eggs, separated
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
2 cups milk
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and flour in double boiler. Beat egg yolks and milk together. Stir into flour and sugar. Add vanilla. Boil until thick. Remove from heat. In casserole dish, cover bottom w/ wafers. Layer once more. Top with meringue. Bake at 400 until topping browns.

To make meringue, beat the egg whites until stiff; add 2 tablespoons of sugar.
