1 1/2 lbs. round steak, pounded
1 small onion
1 can beef broth
1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
1 #2 can diced tomatoes
Sauce:
1 T. flour
1/4 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Brown steak in a deep frying pan, adding the onions when you turn the beef.Add the salt, pepper, broth and tomatoes. Simmer for at least 2 hours. Add water if necessary to keep meat covered. Remove the meat and set aside. Mix flour and water together and add to the tomato mixture. Bring to a boil. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve sauce over the meat. Also is good on mashed potatoes.
