1 1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. melted butter
3 1/2 c. flour (+ or -)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs and buttermilk. Mix all dry ingredients together and combine gradually with other ingredients. Add addition flour if necessary so that the dough can be rolled out. Take a section of the dough and roll out with rolling pin. Use a dough cutter to cut out doughnuts. Throw holes back into the unused dough if desired. Fry doughnuts in hot oil until done.
