2 lbs hashbrown frozen potatoes
1/2 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped red onion
1 16 oz sour cream
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 cups shredded cheese
2 cups plain corn flakes or Ritz crackers

Directions:
Directions:
Saute or microwave onion with a little water until soft. Mix all ingredients. Place in casserole dish. Mix butter with crushed ritz crackers and top casserole. Bake for 30- 45 minutes .
