1 cup chopped red onion
2 Tablespoons olive oil or vegetable oil
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup red pepper
1/4 cup green pepper
1 teaspoon sugar, splenda, or equal
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 can northern beans (drained and rinsed)
1 can black beans (drained and rinsed)

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onions. Stir in vinegar, pepper, sugar, salt and pepper. Pour onion mixture over combined beans in bowl. Mix well.
