1 one lb loaf unsliced bread
1 c sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1 can (12 or 13 oz) evaporated milk
1/2 c butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Remove end crusts and cut bread into 1 inch slices. Remove crusts from each piece and cut each into 3 strips. Combine sugar and cinnamon; place on waxed paper. Dip each strip into milk, brush with butter and roll in sugar and cinnamon. Lay strips about 1/2 inch apart in shallow oven proof pan or on baking sheet. Bake in preheated 400 oven about 20 minutes. Remove from oven when browned to your liking. Cool on rack and wrap in foil to store overnight. For longer storage place in refrigerator. Serve at room temperature.
