3 cups fresh black-eyed peas (frozen can be used
2 qts. chicken broth
1 smoked turkey wing
1 tsp. sugar
salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer until beans are tender.

Ham, bacon and other seasoning can be used if desired.
