1 c sugar

Directions:
Start with 4 c of water and 1 c rice. Boil until tender. Watch that water does not boil away. If so add more water. Before done, season with 1 c sugar, dash of salt, and butter. If it needs more liquid when nearly done, can add milk and a little half n half. If you like raisins, cook until near done - add to rice when about done.
