1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs beaten
1 cup milk
2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients and put in a greased cake pan and bake at 350 degrees until toothpick comes out clean. About 30 min. Frost with brown sugar frosting recipe.
