2 cups sugar,
1/2 cup crisco,
1/2 cup cocoa,
1/2 tsp. salt,
2 eggs,
1 cup sour milk,
1 cup boiling water,
2 tsp. soda,
2 1/2 cups flour,
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream sugar, shortening and cocoa. Add eggs, milk and water with soda in it. Add flour and vanilla. Stir all and put in a greased and floured cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees about 30 min. or until toothpick comes out clean.
Frost with fudge frosting.
