3 plum tomatoes, finely chopped (or 1 can Hunt's Petite Diced Tomatoes)
1/2 red onion, finely chopped
2 tbsp. capers
1/4 c. chopped fresh basil
2 tbsp. balsamic or red wine vinegar (I used balsamic)
4 tbsp. olive oil
Salt and pepper
Toasted Italian bread
Clove of garlic

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat broiler. In a large bowl combine tomatoes, onion, capers and
basil. Stir in balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Season with salt and
pepper.

Rub toasted bread with a clove of garlic.

Top toasted bread with the mixture and place on baking sheet. Broil
until hot.
