Ingredients:
2 3oz. or 1 6oz. strawberry Jello
1 1/4 c. boiling water
1 can (1 lb.4oz.) crushed pineapple (do not drain)
16 - 20 oz. frozen, sweetened, sliced strawberries
1 c. chopped nuts/pecans (optional)
1 pkg. prepared Dream Whip or 1 c. of whipped topping (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
In small bowl combine Jello pkg. and boiling water. DO NOT make whole Jello recipe as on pkg. Just add the boiling water and dissolve. Let cool but not set. Then combine other ingredients in large bowl and add cooled Jello and mix well. Then fold in Dream Whip. Put in bowl you wish to serve in and can top with whipped topping if you want a sweeter jello salad. Chill.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
We make this without the whipped topping instead of cranberries for Thanksgiving. It's red and has texture like cranberries but the kids love it.
