1/2 cup butter, softened
1 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 to 1 cup powdered sugar
3-1/2 cups milk
2-3 oz. pkg. instant vanilla pudding (can substitute other flavors if desired)

12 oz. frozen whipped topping
1 clean bucket (and shovel to serve with)

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium sized bowl, mix butter, cream cheese and sugar with a mixer. Add the whipped topping to the pudding mixture, and then combine the two mixtures. Starting at the bottom of the clean pail or bucket, layer the cookie crumbs and then the creamy mixture, making several layers of each. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate several hours. Before serving, lay some gummy worms in the "dirt," if desired. To serve, shovel out and enjoy!

Makes 8-10 servings

Personal Notes:
This is an easy, fun alternative to a birthday cake (when cold, it will hold candles for a short time).
