2 tbsp. shortening
1/2 can evaporated milk
1/2 can water
1/4 cup self rising flour.
salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Mix water and milk together and set aside.

In skillet heat shorting until hot. Sprinkle in flour and brown stirring constantly. Add salt & pepper. Slowly add the milk and water mixture. Stir and cook until gravy consistency.

If desired used drippings from bacon, sausage, pork chops, etc. instead of shortening

For Sausage Gravy, lightly brown one pkg. sausage
in skillet. Add small amount of shortening if needed.
