2 c sugar
1 c butter
2 eggs
dash salt
1 c sour milk
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp b soda
4 c sifted flour
1 tsp nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, butter, salt and eggs. Mix dry ingredients and add alternately with milk. Roll out dough on board, handling dough lightly. Sprinkle dough with sugar and cut with cookie cutter. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
