2 c. + 1 T. sifted cake flour 3 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 c butter 1 1/8 c. sugar 2 eggs 3/4/c. milk 1 tsp vanilla
Sift flour three times. Sift baking powder and salt into flour. Cream butter, add sugar a small amount at a time - cream until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Add four and milk alternately. 350º oven Bake 1 hr. for Rhubarb Upside down cake. Bake 30-35 minutes for loaf pan. Bake 20-25 minutes for layer cake.
