1/2 c butter
1 1/2 c brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 c flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 c chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in sauce pan. Remove from heat and blend in sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well after each egg. Add vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder and add all at once. Stir to mix and gently stir in nuts. Turn into a greased 13x9x2" pan. Spread dough evenly. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Do not overbake. Cool.
Glaze: 1 T warm milk, dash vanilla and 1/2 c powdered sugar. Mix well and spread over cookies. When glaze is set, cut cookies into bars.
