Ingredients:  
1 c soft butter
1 1/2 c sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c sifter flour
2 tsp cream of tarter
1 tsp soda
dash salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugar and eggs. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Chill dough. Roll into balls the size of walnuts. Roll in mixture of 2 T sugar and 2 tsp cinnamon. Place about 2" apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake until lightly browned, but still soft. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 - 10 minutes.
