1 c shortening
1 c sugar
1/2 c packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 T water
3 c flour
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugars, eggs, water, salt and vanilla. Add dry ingredients slowly. Chill dough for about an hour. Bake at 375 degrees until lightly brown. Raisins or chocolate chips may be added.
