1/2 c soy sauce
2/3 c vegetable oil
1/4 c granulated sugar
2 tbsp lemon juice or sherry
1/2 tsp monosodium glutamate
1 clove garlic, minced

Directions:

Mix together all ingredients. Pour over chicken or beef and marinate for 2 hours.

For this marinade I use only half of the vegetable oil they call for and I don't use the msg and it still turns out great!
