2 c. Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. buttermilk or sour milk*
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla

*2 tsp. white vinegar into 1 c. regular milk. let set

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all the ingredients in order given. Prepare sour milk before you begin. Bake at 350o until a toothpick inserted is clean.
