1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 tsp garlic, minced
1/4 c onion, diced
1 c tomato sauce
1 tbsp tomato paste
1/4 tsp dried basil
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp pepper
4 oz ziti
1/2 c mozzarella cheese, grated

Directions:
In saucepan cook meat, garlic and onion over moderately low heat, breaking meat into small pieces with a spoon. Drain. Return meat mixture to pan; stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, herbs and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer 5 to 10 minutes, until slightly thickened. Stir in ziti; transfer to baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350 for 20 to 30 minutes.
