BBQ Beer Can Chicken

1 5lbs whole chicken
1/2 can of beer
1/4 cup of bbq rub
1/4 cup of bbq sauce
1 tbsp of garlic powder
1 tbsp of onion powder

Directions:
Directions:
Take the chicken the day before and rub it down with your
favorite BBQ Rub, place in the fridge over night. Salt and
pepper or seasoning salt works too. Pre heat your BBQ to
375 F. Take a half full can of beer add onion and garlic
powder stir lightly. Place can in the chicken's bum. Place on
the grill, balancing on the beer can with no direct flame under
the chicken. Let cook for 1-1 1/4 hour basting with bbq sauce
every 25 mins.
