1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. uncooked rice (not instant)
1/2 c. water
1/3 chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery salt
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. shortening
1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
1 c. water
2 tsp. Worchestershire sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ground beef, rice, 1/2 c. water,onion, salt, garlic powder, and pepper. Shape mixture by rounded tablespoonsful into balls.
Melt shortening in large skillet. Brown meatballs on all sides. Drain off fat. Stir together remaining ingredients; pour over meat balls. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 45 minutes.
If necessary, add 1 to 2 tbsp. water during cooking.
