1 (8 3/4) oz crushed pineapple undrained
2 egg, beaten
1/2 c sugar
1/4 c water
3 tbsp lemon juice
dash salt
2 c diced unpeeled apples
1/2 c chopped nuts
1 c whipping cream

Directions:
Directions:
In saucepan, combine first 6 ingredients. Cook over low heat stirring constantly till thickened. Chill thoroughly. Stir in apples and nuts. Whip cream till soft peaks form. Fold into apple mixture. Pour into 8x8 pan. Freeze till firm. Let stand at room temperature 10 to 15 minutes before serving. Cut into squares.
