1 1/4 lb fresh kale
4 cans chicken broth
1 c water
1 1/2 lb red potatoes chopped
1 1/2 c chopped cooked ham
1/2 large onion chopped & sauteed
2 c whipping cream
2 15 oz cans white beans drained & rinsed
2 T melted butter
2 T all purpose flour
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Remove stems from kale rinse with cold water & drain. Tear into bite sized pieces & put into a large pot with broth, water, potatoes, salt, pepper & ham. Cook until tender. Sautee onions in butter until soft, thicken with flour & add whipping cream. Bring mixture to a boil & then add to the pot along with beans & heat through. If needed thicken with more flour & add more butter if desired for flavor.
