9 slices Merita Autumn Grain (or your favorite)bread, toasted
1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk
2 3/4 c apple sauce
1 tsp apple pie spice
1 tsp vanilla flavoring
1 stick melted butter
1 1/4 c sugar
2 to 3 cups 2 percent milk

Directions:
Directions:
Break toasted bread into small pieces & combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly & pour into an 8 x 11 inch baking dish. Sprinkle top lightly with additional apple pie spice & bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hr or until brown & done. Serve warm with dream whip or vanilla ice cream.
