1 can crescent rolls
1 stick of butter
cinnamon/sugar
1 Granny Smith apple


Mixture:

1 stick of melted butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. sprite

Directions:
Directions:
Pull apart and roll out crescent rolls. Spread with oleo and sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar. Peel, core and cut apple into 8 sections. Place one slice on a crescent roll and pull sides up around apple and roll up around sides. Place these 8 dumplings in 8x8 baking dish - Mix 1 stick melted butter, 3/4 cup sugar, 1 cup sprite. Bring to a boil - will foam. Pour over dumplings and bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until golden brown
