1 to 1-1/2 lbs sirloin steak
1/2 cup red dinner wine
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 crushed clove garlic
2 Tbsp instant minced onion or 1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup butter (1 cube)
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Marinate steak at least one hour in mix of red wine, olive oil, garlic and 1/2 the onion.

Drain meat and reserve the marinade. Broil meat, both sides, until medium rare. Cut into 1/2 inch strips.

Heat, slowly, butter, onion, mustard, worcestershire sauce. Stir in 1/4 C wine marinade. Add salt and pepper. Place beef strips in a dish; pour over the hot butter and wine sauce.

Discovered this recipe during years of heavy entertaining. It was always well received and still is. When we ran out one night at a site group dinner party I had to send Ann and Buzz to the store to get more sirloin.
