Personal Notes:
Saffron is a very popular traditional recipe from many members of the Gevelinger family. This recipe from Lori Ewers was given to her mom, Rosemary, by Margaret Gevelinger, who passed it along from Gram Gevelinger. Martha Bendon remembers her Stonner family having this for Easter and the Dodgeville Gevelingers had this for Christmas. Grandpa Ray loved it.
