12 slices cinnamon bread or cinnamon raisin bread.
1 pint (16 oz.) half and half or light cream
6 tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
2 tbsp. brown sugar, firmly packed
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Preheat oven 350

In lightly greased 13 x 9 in. pan arrange bread slices in two layers.

In a mixing bowl whisk remaining ingredients. Evenly pour over bread slices, pressing down until liquid is absorbed and bread does not float.

Bake 45 minutes or until bread is golden brown. Check center with knife to be sure it has fully cooked or with thermometer 150 degrees.
