2 T butter
1 large minced onion
8 peppercorns
1/4 tsp grated nutmeg
1 bay leaf
1 T curry powder
2 T flour
2 T vinegar
1 1/2 c boiling stock or water

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter. Saute onion. Stir in other ingredients and salt to taste. Stir until the sauce bubbles. Strain well; serve hot or cold.
