2 (16-oz.) cans crushed pineapple
1 can large mandarin oranges
1 box orzo pasta
2 (16oz.) containers of Cool Whip
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 T. cornstarch
1-1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Drain juice of pineapple and oranges. In saucepan add juices and sugar, salt and cornstarch. Cook until custard stage, stirring often. Boil orzo pasta per directions on box, and drain. Cool custard, combine orzo and custard. Add fruit. Let stand overnight in refrigerator. Next day add Cool Whip, then walnuts. Transfer to a large serving bowl.
