2 1/2 c crushed pretzels
3/4 c butter or margarine melted

1 c sugar
1 8-oz pkg cream cheese
1 med size frozen whipped topping

1 lg box strawberry gelatin
2 c boiling water
1 large or 2 sm pkg frozen strawberries
1 c crushed pineapple with juice

Directions:

Mix crushed pretzels and butter together and line 9 x 13 inch cake pan with mixture. Bake at 400 for 8 minutes. Cool.

Combine the sugar, cream cheese and whipped topping until smooth and creamy. Spread over cooled pretzels carefully.

Mix the gelatin and hot water together. Put in frozen strawberries and pineapple. Chill until set up and spread over topping and pretzels. Refrigerate.

I have adapted this for Diabetes, using Splenda for the sugar and sugar free gelatin. This is one of the kids favorites for the holiday get togethers.
