1 strip bacon
3 Tbsp chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
2 Tbsp chopped green peppers
1 med tomato, coarsely chopped
1/4 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp basil
1-1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/3 C water
2 pkg (9 oz each) frozen french style green beans

Directions:
Directions:
Partially thaw beans. Saute chopped bacon until lightly brown in a frying pan with tight fitting cover.

Add onion, garlic and green pepper; saute until golden. Stir in tomato, green beans, oregano, basil, salt, pepper and water.

Cover and simmer for 13 minutes (until beans are tender-crisp).
