8 slices bread
3/4 lb grated longhorn or cheddar cheese
1/4 c chopped onion
1/4 c green pepper, chopped
6 eggs
3/4 tsp dry mustard
3 c milk
3/4 tsp salt
dash cayenne pepper
1 to 1 1/2 lb Italian sausage

Directions:
Directions:
Butter and cube the bread, then lay in bottom of 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle cheese, onion, and green pepper over the bread. Mix eggs, dry mustard, milk, salt and cayenne pepper. Then pour over the bread. Brown sausage and sprinkle over top. Refrigerate overnight covered. Bake covered at 325 for one hour or until egg mixture is set. Uncover last 5 minutes.
