Directions:
Blend basil leaves, olive oil, pinenuts and garlic at high speed, stopping from time to time to push down ingredients. Blend until smooth, then add cheeses, butter and salt and blend a few seconds. Serve over hot linguini or fettucini. Fresh basil is available in July or August especially in large cities. Some stalls at Farmer's Markets may sell it.

Personal Notes:
We always double or triple this recipe and fill small canning jars and freeze. Pat grows fresh basil in his greenhouse.
