1 c. Crisco
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Beat Crisco, sugar and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix until creamy. Add the baking soda, salt, flour and mix. Stir in chips and nuts.

Bake for 8 - 10 minutes until golden brown.
