1 cup evaporated milk
1 cup sugar
3 egg yolks (may thicken with cornstarch instead)
1/2 cup margarine
1 1/3 cups angel flake coconut
3/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine and heat over medium heat for 12 minutes: milk, sugar, egg yolks and margarine. Remove from heat.
Add coconut, nuts, and vanilla. Stir until cool and good spreading consistency.
