2 Tbs sugar
1 Tbs salt
2 Tbs shortening
2 cup boiling water to melt shortening
2 Tbs yeast
1/2 cup water
1 Tbs sugar
7 1/2 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 4 ingredients. Set aside to cool.
Dissolve yeast and 1 Tbs sugar in 1/2 cup water.
Combine yeast with wet mixture. Add and knead in 7 1/2 cups flour. Work down every 10 minutes for an hour. Divide into 2 balls, let rise 10 minutes. form into loaves. Slash top. When risen, coat with 1 egg
2 Tbs milk
Bake 375 for 25 minutes

This makes an excellent pizza crust. Just let the dough rest 10 minutes after kneading, then coat pizza pan with olive oil, and press half of the dough into each of two pans.
