1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 cup flour
1 cup quick oatmeal
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 1/2 cups mashed bananas
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup chopped raisins
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar.
Add, beating until fluffy: eggs and vanilla.
Add and mix in dry ingredients and mashed bananas, alternating with milk.
Fold in raisins and walnuts.
Pour in greased loaf pan and bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes. Cover 5 minutes after removing from oven to keep moisture in cake, then turn onto cooling rack.
