3 (1oz) squares unsweetened chocolate
1 tbsp butter
1 c light corn syrup
1 c sugar
4 eggs, beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1 unbaked 9" pie shell
1 c pecan halves

Directions:
Directions:
Melt chocolate and butter over low heat. Combine with sugar and corn syrup; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, just until sugar is dissolved. Cool.
Preheat oven to 325. Add eggs, vanilla extract and pecan halves, blending well. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until firm.
