1/4 c. butter
2 c. cooked chicken
1 c. onion
1 tsp. salt
1/16 tsp. pepper
bean sprouts
2 c. celery
1 1/2 c. chicken broth

thickening
2 T. cold water
2 T. corn starch
1 T. soy sauce
1 T. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
cut chicken in strips, finely cut the onions and celery. Melt butter & add onions in a large pot. Fry 3 minutes. Add celery & cook 5 minutes adding salt & pepper. Pour in chicken broth & stir. Add bean sprouts, I use fresh but you can use 1 can of sprouts. Add the meat and the thickening. Cook 1 minute and serve over rice or noodles.

Cooking the chicken & taking it off the bone is the most time consuming. When Beth was a little one she had to stand on a chair to help her Daddy put the ingredients in the pot!
