1 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. applesauce
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. 40% bran flakes

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour and Baking powder, salt and sugar. Mix in eggs, applesauce and vanilla. Stir in nuts and cereal. Pour into greased and floured 8 in square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 34 to 40 min or until top is golden brown

Serve with custard sauce or whipped cream
