"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
1/2 c butter 2 tbsp sugar 1 tsp vanilla 1 c cake flour 1 c pecans, ground
Beat butter until soft and add sugar and blend until creamy. Add vanilla and mix cake flour and pecans. Mix well. Roll dough into small balls and bake in slow oven 300º about 40 minutes. Not to long as they burn easily. While hot, roll in powdered sugar. Then cool and roll again in powder sugar.
