1 - 28 oz can diced tomatoes (undrained)
1 c chicken broth
1/4 c butter or margarine
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp chopped onion
1/8 tsp baking soda
2 c heavy cream

Directions:

Mix first six ingredients together. Simmer for one hour. Heat cream in double boiler and pour over soup mixture just before serving
