2c. sugar
4tbsp. Cocoa
2c. flour
c. water
c. butter
c. Crisco
1c. buttermilk (can sour 2% milk with 1tbsp. vinegar or lemon)
1tsp. Baking Soda
2 eggs, beaten
dash of salt

Icing:
1 stick Butter
7 tbsp. Milk
4 tbsp. Cocoa
1 box Powdered Sugar
1 tbsp. Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl, mix sugar and flour. Add butter, Crisco, cocoa, water, and bring to a boil. Pour over flour & sugar. Add buttermilk, baking soda, salt, eggs. Mix well. Put in greased jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

ICING: Put in saucepan, butter, milk, cocoa. Bring to a boil. Turn off heat and pour in box powdered sugar & vanilla. Beat until smooth. Pour over cake while still warm.
